Lesson Summary

In this Introductory Course, we will configure all of the pre-requisites for running through Automation Examples and Automation-related Teachable Courses for F5 Distributed Cloud.

We will configure multiple services, starting with a few that are required as a core for ALL of our Automation examples:

• GitHub
• Terraform Cloud
• F5 Distributed Cloud API access

Depending on which course or examples you are using, you may need to set up users and programmatic access to cloud providers, namely: Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.

Some pre-requisite steps are required to capture the API credentials, to store as GitHub Action Secrets. Ultimately, this will enable us to run through one or more GitHub Action Workflows, which automates setting up credentials and programmatic access to these various resources.
