Hello! in this course, we will be going to discuss about F5 Distributed Cloud's API security capabilities on Customer Edge. XC API security feature is a part of a broader set of XC's solution offerings that is Web Application and API Protection, or in short WAAP. 

This feature can help in monitoring, managing and securing APIs across any data center or cloud platforms, allowing organizations to discover and learn about all the API endpoints mapped to their application including deprecated and shadow APIs, and block API attacks in real-time.

Before proceeding ahead, let's first have a look at our course overview. We will start our course by understanding:

What API security is? and why is it important? then we will try to bring up a setup to test XC's API security solution offering, to do so we will follow steps mentioned in the GitHub SaaS console demo guide. Later we will use an already existing GitHub workflow to bring up the same setup through automation, and at last we will end this course with a short summary about our discussion.
